Reverse of card reads:
Poppy - Papaver Rhoeas The Common Poppy, also known as corn poppy, or corn rose, is the county flower of both Essex and Norfolk. Poppy seeds are able to lie dormant in the soil for decades, only sprouting when the earth is disturbed. During the First World War, battlefields were blanketed in a sea of red, as the churning of the land activated their growth. Since then, the distinctive flower has become a poignant symbol of remembrance. A single poppy flower can produce up to 60,000 seeds, which are a favouite ingredient in baking for their nutty flavour.
