Westminster Bridge is a foot and road traffic bridge over the River Thames. It is 820 feet long and 85 feet wide and is painted mainly green - the same as the leather seats in the House of Commons. In contrast Lambeth Bridge is painted red - the same colour as the seats in the House of Lords.
